Michelle Webb Fandrich is an independent consultant and scholar who specializes in the history of costume, fashionable dress, and textiles.  Currently, she is working on a history of the California fashion and textile industries.  Her passion for shoes developed at a young age -  at one time her personal collection held between 100 and 125 pairs of shoes.
