Uggs

I love the way that these look. But I have yet to buy a pair. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever bought a pair and are they as comfortable as they look? Are they worth the money? Thank you. Just wanted to see what other thought before I commit to buying a pair.

Before Uggs became popular,

Before Uggs became popular, they were a great boot and I lived in them because of the snow around here. No socks, kick them off at the front door and they dried out easily enough. A pair would last several years. Not so anymore. I bought a pair last year and they fell apart. They started making them in China after they got popular and the quality fell to pieces. If you get a pair, order them directly from Australia and you might get a pair that are good. But the brand isn't what it was at all! Go for the copies that are cheaper to begin with and toss them after a season.

I hate when companies begin

I hate when companies begin getting their products from other countries! Doc Martens did the same. A good pair used to last and last, then I believe they also began making them in China and they don't last even half as long!

I don't think I could pull

I don't think I could pull them off too well. Most of the ones I seen were...as I once heard someone put it, "pretty darn UGG." haha...but the furry ones I think are cute with some skinny jeans...

May I also mention that Uggs

May I also mention that Uggs really shouldn't be worn during the summertime...that's a fashion faux pas that I think is the main reason that people I know seem to have a great dislike for the brand. Gotta wear em right, girl!

Yup, Uggs got ruined by the

Yup, Uggs got ruined by the likes of Kate Moss, who was always wearing them around with cut off jeans. The kids picked it up and suddenly a great brand went South. Argh.

I usually try to steer away

I usually try to steer away from the more trendy things. I just can't give in to it. I have to agree that Uggs are ok in winter, isn't that what they were made for?!

For winter wear....

I like the little clogs. I have a denim skirt they would go with perfectly. It's funny how things cycle through. I was wearing clogs in middle school...now I am 51 and they seem to be back.

Too casual for me

I almost bought a pair of UGGS last year, but didn't. I guess I'm glad, because I probably wouldnt't wear them often, if at all. For one thing, I live in a tropical climate and only considered them before because I was vacationing in Europe. I'm pretty sure they would have became dirty quick, on city streets. Now, you can buy them at TJ Maxx.

i love uggs

I have owned uggs since the time when they were so popular you could only buy them on ebay...I love uggs - I have 3 pairs (all different styles and colors) and would easily buy another pair come fall. It isn't about style (hasn't been since uggs reached the masses) but comfort...I haven't found anything that is so comfy and warm and easy! ** LOVES TO SHOP **

I have seen them. but have not bought any. They are ok, but I don't think I would wear them. They are just not my style.

They are cute, and I had

They are cute, and I had thought about getting a pair this winter,  but didn't.  Now I am kind of glad I didn't if the quality has gone south. Though I have to admit last time I was at the mall,  they had some new summer styles of the Uggs that were adorable too.

I have never had a pair, but

I have never had a pair, but they do look comfy and they are probably really warm.

But from what I am reading...I need to find a source whose Uggs are not made in

China...
