Sneakeraholic

My son has a footwear addiction, currently his main passions are sneakers, and boots. I have lost count of just how many pairs he has...he has a huge closet in his room and he has dedicated two shelves that extend the length of the closet to display some of his collection. He has paid more for his sneakers than I have ever spent on a pair of shoes. At least half of his collection has been worn once or not at all. When he goes out everything matches including his footwear. Now, I don't complain, that is his only addiction...the only problem is what's going to happen when he has no place else to store his passion.

I feel for you.  My husband has the same addiction.  Almost exactly.  We are running out of places for him to store his shoes.  I made the suggestion that perhaps he could get rid of some of the ones he doesn't wear to make room.  Boy that was a mistake.  He has several pairs that he simply will not wear for fear of getting them dirty.  They are sneakers for heavens sake.  Oh well.  I suppose he could have worse vices.  :-)
