Has anyone tried roller sneakers? I always figured they were more for kids, but I found them on buy.com under women´s shoes! They look a bit dangerous to me! :)
I never knew they made for adults but I seriously hate those shoes (the kids ones anywaz). I used to work at the mall and it was so annoying when mom's would be shopping and their kids would be flying around the store on their roller-sneakers...grrr!! ** LOVES TO SHOP **
Can't tell you how many notes have been sent home to parents stating that those shoes are not to be worn to school. They are considered toys here and are the biggest nusance next to toys disguised as pencils and watches.
I've seen kids wearing them recently, in airports and in shopping malls. It makes me think that the kids always have to be entertained. I want my kids to be disaplined and to understand that other people have rights, too. Therefore, we have to be mannerly and walk in an orderly fashion sometimes.
I have seen them for kids, but have not seen any for adults. I know for a fact I would not buy them. I would fall and break my neck for sure. I have a hard time walking in regular shoes.
The roller shoes are very popular at school and malls. They weave in an out of crowds, and they seems to enjoy it. I personally don't like them at school because it looks unsafe.
when i was a kid, i was really scared on roller skating, so i never entered the skating rink. though now the child inside me tells me to go for skating but i cant because of the lack of time. not sure if you get the same for adults but have seen kids wearing them.
I hate these shoes. They have signs in various stores around my city saying they aren't allowed. Kids will run you over in these things. I wouldn't buy them for a child or myself, they just annoy me.

And I have gone 'from time to time' to the roller rink and completely loved it, scared
to death that I might fall and make a fool of myself, but I just couldn't resist reliving
those 'good ole days'. But I guess I said that to say I really wouldn't mind a pair,
the only problem would be finding a nice quite place to play...heh heh...S
