About Roberto Cavalli
Founded in Florence in the early 1960s, the Roberto Cavalli brand is distributed throughout thirty countries directly through the Roberto Cavalli showrooms at Via Senato 8 in Milan, Itlaly, and 715 Fifth Avenue in New York. The first store opened in St. Barthelemey in 1994 and since then have expanded rapidly. The firm’s structure is particularly light because most of the turnover is realized by licensees. The Roberto Cavalli spa, run by Robert Cavalli and his wife, Eva Duringer, produces the first lines (women’s and menswear collections that show on the catwalks of haute couture). The second lines (shoes in this case) are entrusted to licensees. Roberto Cavalli shoe licensees are handled by Vicini for women’s shoes and Errebi for men’s shoes. Roberto Cavalli shoes are available in upscale department stores such as Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue , Harvey Nichols, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Harrods, Printemps, and many more prestigious shops worldwide.
