Season of the Witch

Fall is upon us which means… well actually I live in LA, so in fact it doesn’t mean a damn thing. If I did live in a less civilized environ, I suppose it would be time to think about packing away the short shorts and busting out the sweaters. But we Angelenos know no seasons. We’ve been known to pair a tank top with a wool scarf 13 months out of the year. Grown women grocery shop in nothing more than a pair of Strawberry Shortcake underoos and a parka. Los Angeles invented the Uggs and miniskirt combo. You’re welcome for that, by the way.
So as summer turns to autumn, let’s bring on the fringy boots and hot pants!

Lindsay looks breezy, yet toasty. Caffeinated, yet hydrated. A contradiction in lycra and suede. Rock on, La Lohan.
Hilary Duff's vintage cowboy boots? Very cool.
Vintage panty hose? Very gross.
Across the pond, Sadie Frost accessorizes with an escapee from Disneyland’s Enchanted Tiki Room atop her head.

On her feet?

Fierce bootlets made from 100% non-corrosive aluminum alloy!
And back in LA, as our weather turns to a frosty 72 degrees, I leave you with this footwear quandary: you require the warmth and flexibility of a polyester track suit about the ankles. But above the knees, you just can’t be bothered with the muss and fuss of actual pants. What to do? Me? I’m something of a DIY girl (that’s do-it-yourself, for the high-maintenance among you) so in the past I’ve just gone the legwarmer/duct tape/old-pair-of-taking-out-the garbage-vans combo and run with it.
This fall, Gwen Stefani’s LAMB line has done the work for me! Reason #456 to love Gwen Stefani:
