Rest In Peace

I suppose there comes a time in every shoe-gal's life when she must weed out the shoes she no longer wears.

Such is the case for me.

I went through my closet of over 100+ pairs of shoes and began the long process of getting rid of the pairs I don't wear. It was a tough decision, but I had to do it. I even tossed a few in the garage. Shocking, I know.

There were a few I had never worn. What does that say? It says I bought them simply because they were on sale or whatever. At any rate, at least I have a niece and a sister I can will them to, so they aren't gone forever.

But for the ones that were totally worn out...well, may they rest in peace. Wherever they end up. I'll miss you and you served me well.
