Bonjour!  I've been MIA lately as I've started a new job.  In the days preceding this new change, major shoe shopping ensued.  Naturally.

The challenge is always to find comfy shoes that still express your flavor, while dressing in keeping with the norm.  I hate being restricted like this, but it is what it is.  Pleh.  Anyhoo...I picked up some SUPER cute maryjanes from Forever 21 . com.  Can't say they're particularly comfy after 10 hours, but they sure are delish to look at!  Check them out...I loved the black so much, I bought the cream, too: read more...

Justin, Scarlett, Jessica Biel, blah blah blah. Who cares when Stuart Weitzman is rocking the Oscars and keeping things hot. He may not look like Johnny Depp, but dude knows shoes and that's sexy. His designs were on many celebrity feet this past weekend, natch. And Nicollette Sheridan couldn't stay off his jock at Stuart's Oscar Suite.

Nico - "Yo Stuy...how YOU doin'?"
Stuart - "Uh, ahem, I'm married. But look at my lovely shoes..."

Nico - "So...what are you like in bed? I have a thing for guys in glasses who also design shoes...oh, and bad singers with frizzy hair."
Stuart - (voice cracks) "Security? Mrs. Weitzman?? HELP!!!"

It was a dramatic, steamy scene...in Nicollette's mind anyway. However, you can understand her motivation. Generally I find Stuy's shoes a tad boring. But methinks Mrs. Weitzman's been putting it down lately, because his newest collection is inspired. Lookie what Le ShoeGal got this week...

They're Kenzie Hippo Boots in Black and they are the most delicious boots I've ever owned! I'm so excited about them. The heel is almost 4", but they are incredibly comfy. They look hot over pants AND under them. I can't remember the last time I found something so perfect.

And now I'm officially in love with Kenzie. For REAL. Kenzie makes me want to settle down with one brand. And who needs a ring when I've got my Hippo boots? I don't suppose we'll be having any children, but I'm ready to add these to our happy little family: read more...

Hello 2007! A whole new year of shoes, fun, fashion, and resolutions. While I have no idea what celebs have resolved to do differently or better this year, I've cooked up a jolly little suggestion list for the ones who may need a little guidance. 

Pamela Anderson. I've never been a fan of her "style"...where "style" means porn star plastic with her wobbly bits hanging out. Woman, you've got kids and they and WE have seen enough of your junk. Stop. Please. Resolution: Act like a Lady.

I can help you, Pam and so can Betty Muller. These are perfect for your new demure, feminine style for 2007. Think about it, you could be the first to pull this off in a big way. Brit and Tara couldn't do it. I know you've got the resolve. I may think you're pretty much skanky, but I do have respect for the work you do with animals. These shoes are Patent Leather, so they're completely in line with your stand on animal products. There's a good heart and an upstanding lady in there somewhere. Let's bring her out...

Dear Santa,

I have been a SUPER good girl this year (helped cute old ladies with their groceries, did lots of volunteer work, and didn't beat anyone up for getting in my way during a shoe sale). In light of this model behavior, I'm hoping you could deck my bachelorette pad's halls with shoes. Been an angel all year...and it's only a small list, really:

1. Christian Louboutin. Clichy Pump in Nude. Cameron Diaz loves these, too!

2. Dolce Vita Wooden Wedges in Midnight Blue. A favorite of Katherine Heigl.

Say what you like about Kate's personal life, but it can't be denied that the girl has incredible style.  She is one of my Golden Goddesses of Chic.  And we both love love love wellies!  Now that it's fall/winter, it is time to dust off your rain boots.  Ah, what a glorious excuse to wear one of the cutest and most FUN things to put on your tootsies!!
